Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, established in 1914, is one of 12 regional Reserve Banks that, along with the Board of Governors in Washington, D.C., make up the Federal Reserve System. With a mission to maintain America's monetary stability, nurture economic growth, and ensure the integrity and efficiency of the nation's payment system, it provides financial services to depository institutions including banks, credit unions, and savings and loans. Though headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the bank also boasts branches in Birmingham, Jacksonville, Miami, Nashville, and New Orleans.
